Hi!

I am so hopeful today!!! The inauguration of Barrack Obama is I pray a dawning of a new era, breaking free of the past eight years and a huge step in breaking down the walls of prejudice and racism(of all people, not just african american)! Even if you didn't vote for him, who can deny the historical significance of this day. Jubilation, reverence, euphoria, democracy, unity are a few words that come to my mind!
I feel like our daughter to be will have less chance of being treated differently because of the color of her skin or how she "looks". She will know that this country is a place where anyone can succeed, regardless of race, sex,or religion! God knows this President will have his work cut out for him. I pray that good things are to come! I hope the soldiers get to leave Iraq, soon. I hope people take the energy and optimism of today and incorporate it into their daily lives. God Bless:)

Happy 2009!

Bring on the good news!! I am saying Goodbye to 08', and moving on. I know this is going to be a good year for me, at least I am determined to believe that!! Spending time with family this past weekend was a good way to welcome the New Year. New Years Eve came with no bumps in the road and no tears....I usually get really sad:) I am just going to be as patient as I can waiting for baby girl. She is on my mind all the time. I pray that good health and financial support keep coming this year. I am also keeping prayers for my friends in the adoption process,as well as for, those close to me who need good news and love in their life;)
Bye for now!

How was Everyone's Christmas?

I am glad to say Bob and I survived this Christmas without spending too much. We did manage to exchange a few little gifts though:). It was fun just being home together, going to mass and appreciating the little things. Not having family here can be really difficult this time of year. Hoping next Christmas will be a big celebration that includes our daughter and visiting family!! I had to resist buying baby gifts for her this year. I just thought I should wait? Gidget, I lite a candle and prayed for you, like I said I would;). Back to work I go:( Bye for now.

This evening when Bob got the mail,
With my excitement Dolly wagged her tail,
Much to my suprise my eyes did spy,
Wow! Our I-800 approval,I let out a big sigh.

TGIF!

Well, will a little eye fatigue I feel like I have made this blog a little more interesting to view ?! Haven't been on forum lately, but have tried to stay in touch on blogspot:)
I am feeling optomistic today! Yeaaahhh! Remebering not to worry too much about the presents that aren't under the tree this year, but most importantly what is in my heart. I have been listening to Christmas music to and from work and I have one of Louis Armstrong! His voice and tunes can pick you up and put your heart right in the scene of a perfect Christmas memory!
Have a great weekend !
