Welcome to the Jones blog! We are excited to share our adoption journey with friends and family! It is our hope and prayers that we will soon become parents to a beautiful little girl in India.
I am so excited for you. Maybe one day she and Mason can have a playdate, Megan loves babies too. I am so happy for you. What a wonderful family photo.
I'm so glad you carved out a few moments to post some photos on your blog -- spare time (not to mention two hands to type with!) is hard to come by these days.
It is a big adjustment to go from loving the photos and the "imaginary" little person, to getting to know the real little person in your arms and your life! Those first days are so wonderful and exhausting, and joyful and bewildering.
Feel free to e-mail if you ever want to talk to another mama: pleschke@sbcglobal.net
Meera is gorgeous and looks quite comfortable with her new family. :) I would love to hear about your trip and motherhood when things settle down and you get the chance to post.
What a beautiful family the three of you make. I no the journey was a long one but God knew what he had in store for you long before you did. He choose two very special people to be parents to Merra. Your journey has just began, she will bring you much happiness and sadness as she grows from you baby to a woman. There are no books on how to raise a hil but you will get plenty of help from family and friends. Keep the photos coming so we can share in the growth of your family. Congrats to you and Bob Kathy
WOW!! I was just reading back on our blog and read your message. You were my son's nurse in Arkansas. www.kaeganscalling.blogspot.com I am so excited for you and your family!! We will have to meet up the next time we are in Arkansas.
This blog is just a little piece of me(and my family). Each day I'm a little closer to being a mom, and a messier house, lol! Bob and I are so grateful to be on this journey to our daughter. I hope in sharing our story, others will open their hearts to adopting a child. Cheers!
