Fabric swatches....

These are some fabric swatches I hope to use in the baby's room.:) The vine and animal print is for the crib set or a chair and the stripe is for the trim/piping. The fuzzy trim is for a funky pillow or something. We found a good crib for a good price, but haven't bought it yet. I don't know about some of my other blogger buds who are adopting, but all the pics and news about babies soon to get home is driving me crazy!! Don't get me wrong, I am so happy for anyone who is going through this when they finally get to see and hold their new son or daughter!!I'm so glad you all share too. I am just feeling like time is going so slow, yet March is already here. How many more months for us...urrrr! All in all, I can't complain. Today I planted some lillies, the sun was shining...! I am ready for warmer weather, I miss working outside.
Maybe I have a little cabin fever..lol!
Bye for now, God Bless!!

I love the fabric - so pretty. Last March, I also got anxious watching all the other families - it is normal. I think it is the feeling of spring in the air. I hope you get some baby news soon!

I love your fabric choices - I used pink & green in my daughter's room too. You will have to post pictures of the finished product someday!
Hope good news is in store for everyone this spring - it is the season of Hope after all!

During our wait for a referral is when I discovered blogs. :o) I lived vicariously through other people's photos and trips . . . although that was sometimes frustrating too. Hope you hear some news soon!

Love the plan! And it is awesome that you can do some of it yourself- I have to scour ebay!

I love the fabrics you chose. You can also look at Overstock.com. They have tons of super cute crib sets and best of all, you don't have to sew!! I'm right there with you....I have had friends all around me having babies for the past year and they are still coming! All of my tulips, daffodils and hyacinths are breaking through the soil. Spring is here!!! I ordered some wedgewood blue lilacs for the backyard. They're supposed to be super fragrant so they should be great for cutting. Ummmm, is it obvious I have a flower obsession?
